The German-Tanzanian-Friendship-Society (in short: DETAF) is an association of German and Tanzanian people in Germany who want to enhance friendship and exchange between our two peoples. The name of the association in Kiswahili is: CHAMA CHA URAFIKI KATI YA WAJERUMANI NA WATANZANIA.

On the following pages you will find information about our association itself, about our project partners in Tanzania and how you can support them. Moreover, DETAF is sending volunteers to projects in Tanzania and we offer a wide range of information for people interested in Tanzania.

We have just finished the translation of our website into English language. If you find some unacceptable errors in language, please contact us. Your help is most welcome.
