DETAF is an non-governmental organization (NGO) and does not receive regular financial support by the state. Financial grants we receive only project-related from a very few programmes. To conduct our work and especially to support our project partners in Tanzania in the implementation of their actions, we need donations. The administration costs are very low because we have only voluntary staff and therefore nearly the full amount of your donation obtains the project and people in need.

We welcome every donation and will use it reasonably.

If you want to donate to DETAF, please write your name and full address in the reason for transfer. This enables us to send you a donation receipt. Donations to DETAF are charitable and can be set off against tax liability. Supporting individual persons by donating to DETAF is unfortunately not possible due to tax laws.

DETAF is registered under number 765 in the register of associations in Warendorf. Due to the enhancement of international understanding we are liberated from the payment of cooperation tax. (Notice of exemption from 14.05.2009 from revenue office Warendorf, tax no. 346/5879/0307 for the years 2006-2008 according to §5 paragraph 1 no.9 corporate tax law)
